Some irresponsible manufacturers only focus on short-term profits and have started unfair competition in terms of raw materials (so-called cutting corners, using inferior materials, replacing quality plasticizers with waste oil, and leftover oil from refineries), which poses significant risks to consumers. In the door manufacturing process, the investment in sealing strips accounts for a small proportion, but their role cannot be ignored. The methods for identifying the quality of door and window sealing strips include the following:
1. The appearance of surface oil seepage. Those waste oils are not compatible with PVC, and the surface of the sealing strip can easily show grease, leaving yellow marks on the profile surface. It may even be non-environmental with many volatile substances, polluting the air.
2. When those so-called plasticizers volatilize or leach out, the sealing strip will lose its original softness, become very hard, and quickly age and shrink, resulting in significant gaps in the sealing of doors and windows, leading to poor sealing (water and dust leakage). Especially, the steel reinforcements inside plastic-steel doors and windows can be quickly corroded. Many users often find a lot of red liquid leaking from the pressure strip area of the window during the rainy season, which is dirty and indicates that the steel reinforcement has been corroded too early, greatly reducing the lifespan of the doors and windows.
In actual production, the investment in sealing strips accounts for a small proportion, but their role cannot be ignored. Therefore, do not choose counterfeit products just to save a little cost; the identification method is very simple.
First, smell it to see if there is any strange odor. Normal PVC material will have a slight alcohol smell, which is almost undetectable.
Second, tightly wrap the sealing strip around the profile and place it in a high-temperature environment for a period (such as on the roof or in a sunny place). Check if the contact surface between the profile and the sealing strip shows any stains or discoloration, whether the dust on the surface of the sealing strip has turned yellow (oil easily attracts dust), and if it leaves dirt on your hands.Third, some cheaper sealing strips contain a lot of fillers, so their surface will not be very shiny. Those that are very cheap and not shiny are undesirable.Fourth, check the weight, how many meters can be produced per kilogram. Many manufacturers manipulate the use of fillers to pursue greater output (saving a bit of electricity) by using talcum powder, heavy calcium, and similar materials as fillers, which greatly increases the weight of the sealing strip products (we users generally buy by kilogram and use by length), thus inadvertently increasing costs and making it not worth it. Sealing strips with heavy calcium will show a small amount of white powder on the surface after being stretched back and forth several times.

四，看比重，每公斤能出多少米。有很多厂家，在使用填充剂方面大做手脚，为追求更大的产量，（省一点电）采用滑石粉，重钙之类的东西做填充剂，大大增加了密封条产品的比重，（我们用户一般多是按公斤买进，按长度使用的）这样无形中反而增加了成本得不偿失。加入重钙的密封条，来回用手拉伸数次，其表面会出现少量白色的粉末。
